Mr. Allison,
Thank you so much for being such a creative and fun teacher. You managed to engage me in history in ways I didn't see possible. You have no idea how much of a difference it makes to us kids when our teacher is as down to earth, genuine, and understanding as you are. I'm truly going to miss you next year, but I'm glad to be taking the knowledge and guidance you gave with me into my senior year. I never thought I'd be this interested in Teddy Roosevelt! Dear Mr. Allison,
I will admit, when you first came to G block history I was skeptical. I loved Mrs. Reusch and I was sad that she had to go. Needless to say, I changed my mind pretty quickly. I just wanted to email you now that the year is over to thank you for all the energy and perspective that you brought to G block history. In the past, I have dreaded social studies. It was always my least favorite class, even though the material is interesting. This year was different - I looked forward to it, and honestly I feel like I learned more than I've ever learned in a history class, just because I was actually engaged! ....Thank you again for a wonderful year. -NC
Mr. Allison,
I wanted to let you know that even though the "school work" part of the school year is coming to an end, I enjoyed the class work we were given. I was able to learn and complete assignments without being bored or working forever. I know most of my classmates won't reach out as they would have in person but you did a good job picking up where Ms. Reusch left us. I enjoyed going to class and I was able to express ideas easily with less worry. So thank you! -KB
